Thrown and trimmed on the wheel using stoneware clay.
This vase has been part of a pattern making process I explored using slip, in this instance i have decorated the vase using slip as paint playing with line work on curved surfaces.The exterior of this piece is unglazed to showcase a more tactile experience.

Approx height - 15cm
Approx rim diameter - 5cm
Each item is individually handmade meaning that there will be varying qualities in each piece; from how the colours interact, height and roundness. Making them unique and distinctive from one to another.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Please note that whilst this item can tolerate the dishwasher I would advise hand washing to maintain its longevity.
Ceramic items are vulnerable to thermal shock which can cause cracking, please take caution when using with hot and cold appliances or liquids.
