The Humbug Cappuccino Mug - part of the FUN collection, a uniquely individual handmade mug.
Thrown and trimmed on the wheel with a hand pulled handle using stoneware clay.
These mugs have been part of a pattern making process I explored using free hand painting to create a fun and captivating design, elevating everyday items.
In this piece I have used a rich cinnabar shade contrasting with a glossy white glaze combination on the exterior and a peach shade on the inside and rim lending inspiration from the stripey humbug sweets!

Approx height - 5.7cm
Approx rim diameter - 9cm
Holds approx - 170ml
Each item is individually handmade meaning that there will be varying qualities in each piece; from how the colours interact, height and roundness. Making them unique and distinctive from one to another.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Please note that whilst this item can tolerate the dishwasher I would advise hand washing to maintain its longevity.
Ceramic items are vulnerable to thermal shock which can cause cracking, please take caution when using with hot and cold appliances or liquids.
